BEYOND Basic Concealed Handgun Education Course with Scenario Based-Training

This course is an introduction to gun-fighting. Many times during firearm self-protection training, empty handed skills and tactics are overlooked; that is not true with this course. We realize that often empty-hand skills and tactics are necessary for one or more of the following during a self-protection situation: protecting yourself or a third party from an initial assault before being able to access your firearm, needing to fight to access your firearm from a restricted position(s), and/or to transition to empty handed tactics if your firearm fails. This course is divided into three hands-on training segments: an empty handed skills segment, live fire segment and scenario segment. The empty-hand skills segment teaches participants the fundamental skills needed to survive assaultive behavior and single assailants. The live fire segment addresses an introduction to combat shooting (accessing, transitioning to and firing your firearm while utilizing empty handed skills and tactics to better protect yourself when engaging a target(s) with your firearm as well as malfunction drills). The scenario segment will allow participants a chance to put the skills and tactics they learned during the course to the test by putting them into realistic scenarios utilizing real role players and marking cartridge firearms. This course is a must for any civilian, law enforcement or military member that wishes to increase their knowledge and skills related to extreme close-quarters self-protection training. The course is designed for those that are very comfortable handling firearms and have a working knowledge of such. If you are not as comfortable as you would like to be in those areas, check out our Basic Concealed Handgun Education Course. *Please note that this course is only for those individuals that have the authority to legally possess a handgun in the state in which the course is conducted.
