This training is designed for beginners. If you are an experienced shooter, we suggest starting with Concealed Carry Training - An Introduction to Gunfighting.
CONCEALED CARRY TRAINING - AN INTRODUCTION TO GUNFIGHTING
This course is an introduction to gun-fighting. Many times, during firearm self-protection training, empty handed skills and tactics are overlooked; that is not true with this training. We realize that often empty-hand skills and tactics are necessary for one or more of the following during a self-protection situation: protecting yourself or a third party from an initial assault before being able to access your firearm, needing to fight to access your firearm from a restricted position(s), and/or to transition to empty-handed tactics if your firearm fails. This training is divided into three hands-on training segments: an empty-handed skills & drills segment, live fire segment, & scenario segment. The empty-hand skills & drills segment teaches participants the essential skills needed to survive assaultive behavior and single assailants. The live fire segment introduces participants to combat shooting (accessing, transitioning to, & firing your firearm while utilizing empty-handed skills & tactics to better protect yourself when engaging a threat(s) with your firearm as well as malfunction drills). The scenario segment will allow participants a chance to put the skills & tactics they learned during the training to the test by putting them into realistic scenarios utilizing real role players and marking cartridge firearms. This course is a must for any civilian, law enforcement or military member that wishes to increase their knowledge and skills related to extreme close-quarters self-protection training. The course is designed for those that are very comfortable handling handguns and have a working knowledge of such. If you are not as comfortable as you would like to be in those areas, check out our Concealed Carry Training - For Beginners

The live fire and scenario segments of the training will address shooting from non-pedal positions. SHOOTING TO SURVIVE, NOT JUST QUALIFY COURSE
This 8-hour training course will introduce participants how to bridge the gap between traditional 2-dimensional range training & reality. Often range drills do not mirror real gunfights. Unfortunately, state standards are extremely low and do not prepare an officer on how to survive a gunfight, this training does.
The training covers the following:
• How to physically, psychologically, & emotionally maximize survival during a gunfight
• The 3 engagement ranges of a gunfight & shootout
• Essentials of firearm training
• Shooting moving targets both while stationary & moving
• Shooting from realistic & unorthodox positions
• How to effectively & efficiently meet any state's qualification standards
• Creating drills that are both realistic & safe
LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER'S SAFETY ACT QUALIFICATION COURSE (FOR RETIRED LEOs)
This course meets the yearly requirements of the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (aka HR 218), which allows qualified retired law enforcement officers to carry a concealed handgun in all 50 United States as well as all U.S. Territories. All participants that successfully pass the firearms qualification course will be issued a certification card, which is valid for one (1) year from the date of successful qualification.
Our combatives training takes many of the skills & concepts of our civilian trainings listed above and applies them to duties required of law enforcement officers, military personnel, & security officers. Individuals in these professions vary from civilians for three main reasons: 1- they are required to move towards danger, 2-they often carry tools on a duty belt that civilians do not have, & 3-they are often required to gain control of and take custody of people. As such our trainings address those different aspect and can include the use of OC Spray, CEDs (Taser), expandable baton, handcuffs, firearms, & how to assist other officers. Contact us to set up specific training that meets your needs.
